ONEONTA, Ala.—- The Alabama Department of Public Safety has confirmed they completed their investigation of sexual harassment allegations against Blount County Sheriff Danny Morton.

Special Prosecutor Tom Sorrells says he has received the findings and is currently weighing them to determine whether or not to present them to the Blount Count Grand Jury.

Earlier this year a Blount County Sheriff’s Deputy filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Morton claiming he made unsolicited sexual advances while on the job.

Morton has denied all allegations.

Blount County’s District Attorney Tommy Rountree has recused himself in the case.
