UPDATE: Alabama Power Employee Found Dead At Mitchell Dam

An Alabama Power employee was found dead at Mitchell Dam Tuesday.
According to Alabama Power Company spokesman Michael Sznajderman, the employee is identified as Robert Lynn Courtney, 52.
Courtney’s body was found in the water, about midday.
The worker is classified as a hydro-journeyman, and worked at Mitchell Dam for 20 years.
Courtney is a 35-year veteran of Alabama Power Company.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.
