Birmingham mayor Langford will light Christmas tree

Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford is scheduled to flip the switch and light the city’s Christmas tree.  Langford was in federal court on Monday being hit with a 101 count indictment.
Langford is scheduled to throw the switch on the tree between 6pm and 6:10pm Tuesday night.  The tree lighting event is set to begin at 4:45pm and run through 7pm in the city’s Linn Park.
