Birmingham Police Investigate City’s Latest Shooting

Birmingham police and investigators from the Alabama Bureau of Investigation are looking into the city’s latest death. The ABI was called because a Birmingham police officer was involved in the shooting. Officers were called to 1917 Ave “J” in Ensley around 4 p.m. One person was dead and another reportedly transported to UAB hospital. Authorties are still on the scene trying to piece together exactly what happened.
