LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Mini is going electric. BMW’s Mini division is taking the wraps off its new all-electric car at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Mini E will lease for $850 a month. And there’s no shortage of customers. The company says it already has 10,000 inquiries about the car but only 450 will be offered.

Unlike hybrids, the Mini E is electric only and goes for about 150 miles before it needs to be charged.
