ALABASTER:  Police say a bomb scare at a Shelby County strip mall was a prank.

Investigators and bomb squad technicians were called to the Best Buy store in Alabaster off I-65 at exit 238.  The bomb squad detonated the suitcase left in the parking lot this evening. Investigators tell NBC13 HD news that a note saying “this is a bomb” was taped to the suitcase.
