A three month narcotics investigation ends in more than two dozen arrests in Alabaster.
In a news release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was conducted on August 22, 2008 at a residence on Simsville Road.
The Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force, Alabaster Police Department, Pelham Police Department, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, and the Drug Enforcement Adminstration were involved in the investigation.
Numerous firearms and a small amount of crack cocaine were recovered in the search warrant.
The operation arrested 27 people on a total of 57 arrest warrants, 51 of the warrants were for Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
