FBI Arrest Michigan Man on Murder Charges

Acting Special Agent in Charge (A/SAC) Charles E. Regan announced today that the FBI, along with the Talladega, Alabama Police Department arrested Eugene Clark Posey, 27, without incident at apartments located at 160 Broadway Avenue in Talladega, Alabama on an Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant issued out of Detroit, Michigan. Posey is charged with murder, assault with intent to murder and weapons charges. He was not armed at the time of the arrest. Posey was taken to the Talladega County jail where he will be held. An extradition hearing is expected early next week.
On 10/29/07, it is alleged that Posey became involved in an altercation with two other individuals and that Posey shot both men. One man died and the other was seriously injured.
A/SAC Regan thanked the Talladega Police Department, the Talladega County Sheriffs Office and the Talladega District Attorney’s Office for their invaluable assistance in this arrest.
