State Troopers had to close lanes on Interstate 65, after a serious wreck.
The incident happened near mile marker 266 on I-65 southbound about 2:30 p.m.
That’s at the Birmingham and Fultondale city limits.
One car was involved, and appeared to have rolled over.
State Troopers closed lanes, to allow a medical helicopter to land.
It appeared the roof had to be cut off the vehicle.
Medical personnel put one person in the helicopter.
