Irondale Wreck Kills Woman

A single car accident Wednesday morning took the life of a woman. The accident happenend on Overton Road in Irondale near Grants Mill Road. Five other people from the vehicle were injured and taken to UAB Hospital with one of those injured being transported via Lifesaver helicopter.
Police tell NBC13HD News that speed may have played a factor in the accident.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
