Services will be held Tuesday and Wednesday for Gardendale High School’s senior class president. 17 year old Katie Burkett was killed
Sunday morning on I-65 in Calera. Burkett was a passenger in a car of teens heading for the beach.
Visitation for Burkett will be held Tuesday night at Gardendale First Baptist Church. It begins at 6pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11, also at Gardendale First Baptist.
