Twenty different law enforcement agencies teamed together to combat crime in Marshall County.
According to a news release from the Marshall County District Attorney’s office, Operation Summer’s Over culminated Wednesday, September 17, 2008, with a three-day roundup of criminal suspects.
The operation resulted in 101 arrests, seizure of 394 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, cash and firearms.
Operation Summer’s Over involved more than 100 law enforcement personnel from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall County District Attorney’s office, Boaz Police, Albertville Police, Guntersville Police, and Arab Police.
The operation targeted criminal violations involving drug distribution, drug trafficking, and illegal possession of firearms.
