Oxford Man Arrested After Domestic Disturbance

Police arrested a man following a domestic incident at a home in Oxford late Friday night.  Police were called to the home in the Airport Road area of Oxford about 6:30 p.m. Friday.  Neighbors told NBC13 HD News that officers sealed off the area near the home, which is between Gidley Road and Coldwater Creek, and asked residents to stay inside until the situation ended.  Police say the family inside the home was able to leave the home.  They report no one was harmed.  Police say the man arrested was found asleep inside the home about 9:00 p.m.  He was charged with third degree domestic violence.
