Police in Canton, Georgia, have shut down a medical clinic
they say was being run by two brothers who had no medical training.
One sibling posed as a doctor and even performed surgeries. The
other, according to police, filled prescriptions. Arrested were
Miguel Valez and Raul Valez.
Investigators said the undercover operation started in July
after a complaint was filed by a local physician who said his name
had been used to obtain a business license for the clinic.
Police said the men remain under investigation by other agencies
for operating medical clinics in Smyrna, Roswell and the Atlanta
area.
