Some central Alabama schools are dismissing early Monday afternoon due to severe weather threat.
Bessemer Academy is dismissing at 1 p.m. Monday, August 25.
Clay County Schools dismissed at 12:15 p.m. Monday, August 25.
Jefferson State Community College in Clanton is canceling day classes Monday, August 25.
Chilton County Schools canceled classes, even before classes began today, Monday, August 25.
All cancellations and dismissals are due to severe weather conditions.
