Shots fired during Tuscaloosa delivery truck robbery

Tuscaloosa Police Criminal Investigators have charged three people accused in an early morning robbery.

Shortly after midnight Thursday, January 8, 2009, while making a food delivery in the 4500 block of 18th Ave East, the victim was approached by a man who demanded money and her vehicle.

After talking an undetermined amount of cash, the victim got into her vehicle and the suspect entered a Chevy Malibu occupied by two other men and left.

The victim followed the suspects, trying to get a tag number, when the victim was shot at several times.
A short time later, Tuscaloosa Police patrol officers stopped a vehicle matching the description and the three men were taken to the Police Department for questioning.

Arrested were:
Bernard Morrow 21yrs of age-Robbery I- $50,000.00 bond
Ronald Freeman 19yrs of age-Robbery I-$50,000.00 bond
Laquinton Rollins 18yrs of age-Robbery I & Attempted Murder-$100,000.00 bond

All were placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.

There were no injuries to the victim.
