John Mark Stallings, 46, was born with Down’s syndrome. His health had been on the decline in recent years. He was a permanent fixture in the football world as he accompanied his father to every practice and game during his father’s tenure in 1990-96. The Alabama athletic training facility is named in his honor, and he has a playground at the Rise School in Tuscaloosa named after him.

It’s a sad day for the Bama Nation. John Mark will always be remembered. He was truly an inspiration and a positive example for those who said, “I can’t”.
John Mark proved “we can”.
Rest in peace John Mark and ROLL TIDE ROLL.
