Suspect charged in B’ham’s first murder of 2009

Birmingham Police have arrested a suspect in the city’s first murder of the year.

27-year-old Ronald Martin has been charged in the shooting death 34-year-old Cornelius Mosley.

The shooting happened Monday, January 5th, at Goldwire Street and 1st Ave. North.

Martin is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
