The Day Ahead-Tuesday, July 15, 2008:
-Primary run-offs are Tuesday. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Officials are expecting a 9% turnout.
-State and local law enforcement officials will learn how to retrieve deleted text messages and photos from cell phones efforts during a Cell Phone Forensics 101 training session being presented by BKForensics from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 15-17 at the Shelby County Sherriff’s Office, 380 McDow Road, Columbiana.
-The Birmingham City Council meets Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The Council is expecting Mayor Langford to pass the budget at Tuesday’s meeting.
-The Jefferson County Commission meets Tuesday at 10 a.m.
-The Jefferson County Board of Education meets Tuesday at 10 a.m.
