Thursday is the Deadline to Apply for Absentee Ballot for July Runoff

Thursday, July 10, is the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot for the July 15 primary runoff in Alabama.

The following is a partial list of Republican races:

Beth Kellum and Lucie McLemore are running for the Republican bid for Court of Criminal Appeals Place 1.

Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh and Matt Chancey are on the Republican ballot for Public Service Commission President.

In the race for US Congressional District 2, Jay Love and Harri Anne Smith are up for the Republican bid.

And Cheryl Baswell Guthrie and Wayne Parker are up for the Republican bid for US Congressional District 2.

There are no statewide Democratic races in the runoff.

Several smaller countywide races are also expected in the July 15 runoff.

To obtain an application for an absentee ballot, visit your county courthouse.

The deadline to submit absentee ballots is Monday, July 14.
