The Tuscaloosa Police Department’s Helicopter Unit will resume its annual Shopper Chopper Detail.
Starting Friday, November 28, 2008, TPD helicopters will be in the air during various hours flying over major shopping outlets throughout Tuscaloosa through the New Year.
The police department’s goal is to reduce the number of crimes committed through vehicle break-ins and thefts as well as giving shoppers a sense of comfort while enjoying shopping during the holiday season.
