Vandals Damage High School Stadium At Boaz

BOAZ, Ala. (AP) - The principal of Boaz High School says an unidentified group of vandals damaged the Dr. L.F. Corley Jr. Stadium.

Principal Lowell Smith said the major portion of the damage Friday night was limited to the use of spray cans to paint graffiti, including obscene references to male and female anatomy,

Smith said he will be reviewing the school’s video surveillance cameras and following up leads with the police department’s investigation.

The Boaz football team was playing on the road Friday night.
