(Birmingham, AL) Nick Ham made an impressive run during qualifying at Barber Motorsports Park on Saturday. Ham took the pole in Rolex Series GT class for the Porsche 250 on Sunday. Ham qualified with a time of 1:28.084 at a speed of 94 MPH.
Ham and Sylvain Tremblay drive full-time in the No. 70 SpeedSource Mazdaspped/Castrol Mazda RX-8. They won the Rolex 24 at Daytona earlier this year and have three podiums and five top-ten finishes in the first seven races of this season. The duo finished fifth last year at Barber, which was Nick Ham’s inaugural race.
