Birmingham, Ala (UAB Sports)-Former UAB forward Reggie Huffman is taking his game overseas after signing a professional contract
to play for Allianz Swans Gumundeon in Austria.

Huffman, a 6-foot-7 Birmingham native had a year left on the southside, but decided in April to leave school early and it paid off for him.

He dazzled scouts playing in the Euro-Basketball Summer League in Las Vegas so much that teams from Spain, Germany and Mexico
attempted to sign him, but Huffman said Austria showed the most interest.

Huffman said he has no regrets about leaving UAB early, even though he is just 13 hours short of completing his communications degree.
